Professor Zacharius Demeitros, Order of the Triple Goddess, (b. 1928) was the Mysterious Magic Professor and Headmaster of Blixthorn Academy of the Magical Arts. He was a pure-blood wizard and the son of Abraxas and Agitha Demeitros, the husband of Rhona Strouse, and the father of Tobias. Demeitros was orphaned to his aunt in 1937 when both of his parents and uncle died in the American Wizarding Civil War. A troubled and mischievous child and student, Zacharius Demeitros eventually grew up to be a well respected advocate for the fair treatment of beasts and eventually became famous for advancing the enigmatic field of study of thought when he demonstrated the transference of thought magic to a book. He eventually married but lost his wife in childbirth to their only son.
