Liuva Dalhover was a half-blood witch in the employment of the Department of Magic. Her earliest known position was as the Deputy Secretary of Magic to Secretary of Magic Bealdwin Haggerforth until his assassination in the Spring of 1996 when she assumed the position of Interim Secretary of Magic. After Girellius Gaeddart was captured, she personally oversaw his trial and ultimate imprisonment. Dalhover also began to fight back against the Death Bringers' guerilla war around the country, doing best to focus as many of the MRA's resources on the effort. In 1999, Dalhover was officially elected Secretary of Magic and ultimately oversaw the eradication of the fifth column group. She retired in 2020, deciding not to seek a fourth term.
